These whole chickens are air-chilled, helping them to retain their beautiful colour and natural flavour—without paying for any extra water weight like you do with most water-chilled chickens. High in lean protein and very calorie efficient, these whole chickens are simply delicious.

You can’t go wrong with whole barbecue chicken, can you? We like to spin up a mixture of lemon juice, seasoning, and our favourite BBQ sauce to coat the chicken with before throwing it on a hot grill.
Our Preferred Preparation for Whole Roaster Chicken
So many options here. We recommend rubbing your chicken down with butter before seasoning it with salt, pepper, and herbs. You can cook Butcher Shoppe chickens whole in the oven or on the barbecue, or you can even break them down into individual pieces. And don’t forget to make a nice chicken stock with the leftover bones and trimmings!
